Whatever your standard, our members will make it easy for you to fit in and enjoy the game. We have three qualified coaches, who offer their advice for free.  Why wait?

Application forms are available from the Secretary, or may be downloaded here.

Non-members are welcome to play, for a small fee per session.  For more information, please contact the club secretary.
Latest News
We've had some notable successes recently, even after the win at Gosforth (main picture).  Shelagh and Jean reached the last 16 of the National women's pairs competition at Leamington, while three of our men played in the County team that reached the semi-final of the Middleton Cup.

On Saturday (17 August) we won the West Tyne Cup, beating Hexham House B 3-0 on rinks, and by a convincing (if irrelevant) 59-31 on shots.  Then the next day we won the West Tyne Gala Day - the first time in a number of years (picture far left).

The Nines team finished the season with two wins in the double-header against Forest Hall, and look likely to finish third in the table, while our Clegg League squad won Division 5 without the need to play their one outstanding fixture.

We refer to league matches in our weekly Match Reports, with the quickest way to find out results is now via Twitter.  Follow us @HexhamElvaston.

The season finishes on 7 September with a fun game followed by the Presentation of Prizes.

Coloured bowls The Club plays in four local leagues with men's, ladies' and mixed teams, as well as enjoying several informal sessions each week.  We also play about 16 friendly matches each year, against a wide range of neighbouring clubs.   Check out our full schedule .
