Membership at Elvaston is still increasing.  Come and see what makes bowls such a popular sport for all.   Or maybe check out our list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Whatever your standard, from beginner to County player, our members will make it easy for you to fit in and enjoy the game. We have three qualified coaches, who offer their advice for free.  Why wait?  Application forms are available from the Secretary, or may be downloaded here.


Latest News
The Race Night on Friday 23 June was a great success - both as a social event and as a fundraiser for the club. Many thanks to all those who organised and supported the event.

We have welcomed an enthusiastic group of lads from Queen Elizabeth High School, and also a smaller group from the Tynedale U3A (University of the Third Age).  All showed interest and promise!  Bowls really is a sport for all ages.

Coloured bowls The Club plays in three local leagues with men's, ladies' and mixed teams, as well as enjoying several informal sessions each week.  We also play about 18 friendly matches each year, against a wide range of neighbouring clubs.   Check out our full schedule .
