Hexham Elvaston Bowling Club
Welcome!
Welcome to the website of
Hexham Elvaston Bowling Club
in Northumberland.
There is a real feel of positivity about the club as we look forward to league competition starting and have been very encouraged by so many people - at least twenty - joining us for the first of our Bowling Taster days on Saturday April 25th. These are free with no commitment. Except we think you'll like it and want to join the club! With free coaching and lots of encouragement it really is worth a try. Details of how to sign up are on this Home page. And it's not too late to come along.

New member Ian McNaught (left) won the Armstrong Cup, presented by president Barry Dowdeswell on the first Saturday of the new season. He will have to be watched because he also won the bottle of whisky in the traditional Spider competition! Runners-up were Susan Macdonald and last year's winner, Terry Boon. With 38 members on the green it was a fantastic day. Click on the image above for more and to expand photos.
